Jakarta harbor impressions

Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta's old harbor with its largest and still operating commercial fleet of wooden boats (phinisi). Work didn't change much. In 1992 as I visited Sunda Kelapa the first time Sunda Kelapa was full of tropical wood, nowadays it seems cement is trading item number one.

klaro, ich war einer von denen. Habe aber mehr 'in den Bananen', mit'em Kaffee und Kakao oder im Winter 'im Holz' gearbeitet. Überwiegend war es allerdings Hamburg. Lübeck war nur Holz und meistens bei Eiseskälte...
