Butterfly: Bigger than Two Palms
After the termite attack (see below) it's time to show other fascinating facets of nature. One day nature surprised us with a giant butterfly in our garden in Alabang. The beauty was bigger than two palms and stayed with us for 6 hours.
Too bad, butterflies rarely come again …..

This moth is locally called Mariposa and scientifically : Atacus Atlas. There are realed species that are even bigger.

Thanks for the comments, Frayed and Stickinsecthunter. Didn't know that moths are bigger than butterflies. Will have a buy much bigger mothballs then. No wonder why my cloths having such big holes.
